Neil - Physiotherapist
Neil qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist over 30 years ago. Initially he spent 6 years in the NHS and Private Practises before moving full-time into to Premier League Football, where he spent 2 years at Liverpool Football Club and then moved to Manchester United. For 25 years he worked with the 1st team, becoming Head Physiotherapist for 3 years and then for the last 7 years years lead the Academy Physiotherapy Team. Recently he has returned to Private Practise and hoping to spend more time with his family and pursue his passion for golf.
In the NHS, Neil developed his manual therapy and clinical reasoning skills to effectively treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. Moving into to Professional Football he continued to develop, gaining a MSc in Sports Science (focusing on Exercise Physiology), increased his knowledge of acupuncture, Pilates, Myofascial Release and became a member of the UKSCA (UK Strength and Conditioning Association). Recently Neil has become accredited by the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) focusing on improving physical performance of the golf swing.
Neil’s experience makes him ideally placed to help clients develop and reach their potential, from young footballers to golfers off all abilities. He is adept at dealing with elite professionals, young aspiring athletes and amateurs across all sports.
