Caz - Physiotherapist

Caz trained as a physiotherapist at the renowned Manchester Royal Infirmary, where her passion for musculoskeletal health began. She launched her career working with the Armed Forces at Catterick Garrison, honing her expertise in treating musculoskeletal disorders. Over the course of her 30+ year career, Caz has worked extensively in the NHS, private practice, and internationally in Singapore and Saudi Arabia.

To further specialize, Caz pursued a Master of Science Degree in Manipulative Therapy at Coventry University, earning membership in the prestigious Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP). Her advanced manual therapy skills are complemented by her training in injection therapy, allowing her to deliver cortico-steroid and hyaluronic acid injections for effective pain management.

Currently, Caz holds a position as an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner at Wrightington, Wigan & Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. In this role, she works closely with orthopaedic consultants and GPs, oversees investigations such as MRI scans, x-rays, and nerve conduction studies, and runs a regular injection clinic. Caz also plays a vital role in mentoring both medical and physiotherapy students.
Since 2008, Caz has been an integral part of the Cheshire Physiotherapy Centre, where she treats a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions affecting the neck, back, and joints. In addition to her expertise in manual therapy, she is trained in acupuncture, shockwave therapy (ESWT), soft tissue myofascial release, and Pilates.
